    A full spec suite before any code is written.

    Every project starts with a documented scope, data model, and API contract. You review and sign off on exactly what will be built before a developer opens an editor — so there's no drift between what was promised and what ships.

    Build

    Production stack, not prototypes.

    We build on the Grit Framework: Go, Gin, and GORM on PostgreSQL and Redis for the backend; Next.js for web, Expo for mobile, and Wails for desktop where needed. One consistent, production-grade stack across every product.

    Harden

    Security and testing before launch, not after.

    Server-side authorization on every request, integer-precision money handling, HMAC-verified webhooks, and test coverage on the paths that matter — payments, data integrity, and access control — before anything reaches a user.

    Ship & Support

    Launch, then stay reachable.

    Deployment, monitoring, and a direct line back to the team that built it. You own the code and the platform outright, with support and retainer options for what comes after launch.

Engineering Standards

Non-negotiables baked into every product, whether or not you’d think to ask for them.

Server-side tenant derivation
Access scope is derived from the authenticated session on the server, never trusted from a client-supplied ID — the class of bug that leaks one customer's data to another.
Integer-kobo money
Every monetary value is stored and computed as an integer in kobo. No currency field is ever a floating-point number, anywhere in the stack.
HMAC-verified webhooks
Every inbound webhook — Paystack, Termii, or otherwise — is signature-verified before its payload touches application logic.
Signed asset URLs
Private files and media are served through short-lived signed URLs, not permanent public links, so access can't outlive its purpose.
Offline idempotency keys
Field and offline-first flows write with idempotency keys, so a retried sync after a dropped connection can never double-post a transaction or duplicate a record.

Rock Joystick Technologies is a software studio based in Asaba, Delta State, founded by Duke. We build production-grade platforms for the industries that actually run Nigeria’s economy — fintech, sports, logistics, hospitality, education, agriculture, and events — with the local realities of payments, connectivity, and regulation designed in from day one, not patched on afterward.

We’re a product studio, not a body shop: every engagement follows the same documentation-first, security-hardened process, on the same production stack, whether we’re building a fintech ledger or a national sports federation platform. That consistency is what lets a small studio in Delta State ship at a standard usually reserved for much larger teams.

Our mission is straightforward — build the software African businesses and institutions actually need to run, own, and grow with, without the excuses that usually come with “built for Nigeria.”
