The problem

Landlords and agents track leases, tenant history, and rent payments manually, which makes it hard to know who owes what, when a lease is expiring, or whether a prospective tenant has a history worth checking.

What was built

A property management app: listing management, tenant applications with reference checks, lease term tracking with renewal reminders, and rent collection with Paystack payment links and automatic receipt generation.

• Lease lifecycle state machine that surfaces renewal and rent-due reminders automatically
• Rent ledger built on integer-kobo accounting so partial payments and arrears are always exact
