The problem
Academies run enrollment on paper, coach schedules in a group chat, and player progress in a coach's private notebook — none of it visible to parents or shareable across coaches.
What was built
An academy management app: student enrollment and fee tracking, coach and court scheduling, and a player development log parents and coaches can both see.
Notable engineering
- Court and coach scheduling with clash detection across multiple academy locations
- Fee tracking integrated with Paystack for parent-facing payment links
- Progress logs structured by skill category so development is trackable over seasons, not just noted anecdotally
