The problem

Merchants juggle a card terminal, a transfer alert on their phone, and a cash drawer, then manually reconstruct the day's sales at closing — a process that loses money to error and time to admin.

What was built

A till application that accepts Paystack card/transfer payments and cash in one flow, closes out shifts automatically, and gives merchants a single daily settlement view instead of three disconnected ones.

• HMAC-verified Paystack webhooks with signature checks before any ledger write
• Shift-based till reconciliation that reconciles cash, card, and transfer against expected totals
• Built on the LedgerNG engine for audit-correct transaction history
